Not the Ugly Americans! Right?

    I know a share of ugly Americans. I do not think that I am one of them. Is that pretentious or smug, conceited or narcissistic? I do not think so. I am not a world-beater money maker. Okay, is that in my favor as an okay American? In the eyes of some socialists, sure. I am not greedy, I am not a bossy dude who makes people do what I say based on my power, status, position. 

    I try to communicate to peoples of other cultures in the languages that they natively speak. That is cool, right? Has it paid off for me or them? Maybe. I have spent quite a few years of my life trying to learn those languages. It has not always paid off directly, but indirectly I have been blessed. I think so. I think that I have brought more to the planet as far as international relations and good will. Good vibes and feelings, that may translate to good will and peace. We hope.

    My wife and I have been raising and supporting children that are making their way into the greater world. They are learning foreign languages, traveling abroad, getting educations, moving into a good way to be productive and good for the world, not just the country.

    China? You are not the answer. We need more freedom. You are way too bossy internally, and externally you allow the worst to occur.

    Poor Africa. But, I think that they are getting it. They are the hope and the future. Brazil and Latin America must do more for people AND the environment.
