The ChiSox are One-Hit. Ugh and Ach. Nah...

The ChiSox are One-Hit. Ugh and Ach. Nah...

Not the Braves. Nor Astros or Guardians. Not the Rockies or Diamondbacks. I need to figure out who held them scoreless.

Oh, it was the Braves. They are pretty good. Their record is very good. 75-53.Their pitcher, Grant Holmes, I guess, was dealing dimes. Or daggers. One Pale Hoser got a hit in the seventh inning. That was all she wrote. The White Sox are still contending, but things are not definitive by a long shot. The White Sox are 3.5 games ahead of next closest Minnesota, which is below .500. Chicago is only five above five hundred but the rest of the the American League Central is mediocre and bad. Who else? Cleveland, Detroit, Kansas City. But a surge by any of them minus the Royals could catch my Southside Swingers.

    The Southside Swingers.

I have grown to like them the best in the American League. Since Tim Raines and Frank Thomas. Now it might be Murakami. We shall see.

Hard to out-do Bryce Harper and Juan Soto. Love them, even though they vacated my favorite over all team, the Nationals. Who are struggling to get back to winning, as they mostly stopped that since the end of July.

Oh, well. Baseball is hard. Only some teams can do it.

    Go, Sox. Go Padres.

Anybody but the Dodgers and the Braves. Yankees? Nah.

    We need more never-win underdogs.
