Lots of Division One College Basketball Teams - Part Three
I am figuring out D-1 basketball teams each cardinal direction from the places where I have lived.
After Provo comes:
San Bernardino/Highland
North of San Berdu: UNLV Running Rebels. Or Cal-St. Bakersfield.
East of San Bernadino: Grand Canyon U or College, which may not have been at that level back then, so the Arizona State Sun Devils.
South of San Bernardino: The UC Riverside something or others... I could hear some of their games on the radio sometimes.
West of San Berdu: Cal-State Fullerton. They have some good baseball teams. They got Kris Smith, a point guard from Pacific High School in San Berdu where I taught.
Next up:
Los Angeles
Ashburn, Virginia
Monterey, California
Sierra Vista, Arizona
Sterling, Virginia
