Soto May Go? Say it Ain't So!

Soto May Go? Say it Ain't So!

Juan Soto is so good he has many nicknames. One that I gave him is "La Verdad". The truth. He is an amazing hitter, he may be one of the best of all time.

He helped the Washington Nationals win the World Series in his second year in the majors, at age 20. He got off to a slow start this season, but he is heating up in July, and he is leading the league in walks.

There are rumors that he may be traded before the deadline this month.

    NO!!!

We already offloaded Bryce Harper, Anthony Rendon, and Trea Turner.

Enough, Nats.

Keep the Young Bambino. We have to hold on to one star, like we had Ryan Zimmerman. Zim had better hands and was smarter running the bases, but Soto will be a better batting average hitter and OBP guy (walks a ton), and will put up twice as many career home runs. Zimmerman may be an All-Star, that is a thought. Soto should be.

  1. Yep, he was traded early August 2, the last day of the trade deadline for 6 promising players. We hope that Gore, Abrams, Hassell, Wood, and the couple others can have great runs and careers. But we lost a young Hall of Famer, which is rare.
