Capital Adventures

 Capital Adventures

How many capitals have you been to? State capitals, national capitals, provincial or district ones?

I have been to many, I think. In the country of Chile, for example, I have been to the national capital, Santiago. The capital of the 8th Region, Concepcion. I have been to the capital of some of the 52 districts. Chillan, Los Angeles, Angol, and possibly a few others.

I have some stories related to a few anecdotes in those capitals of South America. More there than most, probably. Other international capitals? Tel Aviv, Madrid, Bogota, Kabul, Kuwait City. Not much outside of Paris, France, or Lima, Peru. Mexico City, yes. And Hermosillo, or Laz, Baja California Sur. Cairo, Egypt. Yes.

In Canada, there is a little of Calgary, Montreal, a little of Frederickton or the capital of Prince Edward Island, whatever that was... very little.

In the United States there is D.C. the nation's place of rulers, then there are the 50 states. Quite a few stories there, including years of visits, plus some work, too.

Yesterday I was able to really visit Richmond for the first time. It was fun, it was pretty cool. It did bite us with a 55 dollar parking ticket, at the end. But I believe it was worth it.

Sacramento, Carson City, Phoenix, Olympia... The capital of Oregon is: Portland?

Montpelier, New Albany, Dover, Annapolis... West Virginia is...
