Owen Barfield

    A man who lived and died, imparting much thought and analysis upon the world, who was close friends and confidants of luminaries like Lewis and Tolkien. He has had part in our intellectual and entertainment journeys, and we do not even know it.

    Most of the times we do not realize who has affected our thoughts and patterns of life.

    Or do we?

    What do we owe Owen? I think that he influenced two of my favorite authors, that we still are following today.

    I also think that my daughter is getting a graduate degree in his biggest line of reasoning, which is more or less the history of how humans have thought. The psychology of the human consciousness.
