    Easier to talk about the New York Knicks and the Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers than the crime rates of Baltimore or the violence perpetually wrought in Yemen or other parts of the world.

    Science and economics, topics that make our lives better, yet they are harder to grasp, to get our heads around, to entertain and amuse.
