Something Had to Give: The Hoosiers Made it Happen

Something Had to Give: The Hoosiers Made it Happen

    Whoooh. Relief. Contentment.

    Finally.

My Indiana Hoosier men had lost seven of their last eight games. Too much! They won a close one in overtime (right?) at Ohio State. They had blown big ones, close ones, competetive ones. Too many losses!

But tonight was good. IU lived up to some of their pre-season hyper. Hyperbole.

There was a lot of it with all the new transfers. Ballo. Top center. Rice. Elite point guard. Carlyle. Shooting guard. All from the former and now quasi PAC-12.

Arizona and Stanford joined other conferences, while the big Four joined IU and the Big Ten.

Washington State tries to maintain the old name. Best of luck and wishes.

Back to us Hoosiers. Hoosier boys. We needed them tonight, and we got them. Plus a lot of Malik Reneaux, and... Mgbako, enough. Leal, Goode, Galloway did enough.

    Whoooooo.

    Hooooh.

Ah, we live for another day. Mike Woodson helped stop the great Tom Izzo from getting the most Big Ten wins. History preserved for another game. UCLA this Friday, on Valentines. Can we get those now non-ranked turkeys? I think so.

Tucker gave a few good minutes. We missed some key clinching free throws, but did enough. Defense was good, the hand stick steals were superb!

    16-10. We have hope.

    Let's go Hoosiers?

Purdue? Ohio State? Who else? Northwestern again? We can handle this.

If we play as we could. As we should.

    Go Hoosiers!
