Losing My Life, Finding It
Some of us can wander lost.
I can wander, looking to be found.
Sometimes I think that I am found.
But I can become lost.
I have found others that are found.
We love them! Yes, we love the found ones!
Right?
People who have not been lost.
Can I find you? Are you found?
Beautiful, deep, and loving.
They find me, and at times I find them.
We find each other.
We can get sidetracked, distracted, forgetting...
Who we were. Where I was. Who I found.
Who else have I forgotten.
My parents? My leaders? My principles?
I have forgotten them all, in moments.
I have forgotten myself. My most important parts.
Why do we forget?
Are we bored? Are we rejected?
Are we failures, not living up to the hopes of our previous selves?
What can we find?
Who can we find?
Who has been lost?
Who has been recovered?
Can we lose ourselves finding ourselves?
Finding others?
Finding and losing, searching, looking, seeking.
Living.
Past death.
(Dedicated to our dear recently passed friend, Colin Choo. Forever remembered and cherished. Found in Christ.)
