Immigration Problem of U.S. Prosperity and Power
In 2024 people recognize that the United States has border problems with hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants crossing ports and no-lands into the U.S. no matter how they can, primarily from the Mexican border. Illegal aliens, or special interest immigrants, can come many other ways, too. Some come legally but stay over too long, or overstay their visas and remain surviving or thriving for years or decades as part of the U.S. system. Many of them are law abiding and contribute to the American way of life.
Despite the complaints of many in the United State, a large portion of all immigrants, no matter their legal status, contribute to the good of the American economy and society. Most of these newcomers work hard and fall into the production and prosperity of the greater society. This is mostly why they keep coming as they always have: the country thrives on labor, and immigrant labor is constant. It always has been and likely always will be. Most of us in the United States come from that stock, be it from 20 years ago or two hundred, it is the same. We bring the masses and churn out more wealth.
The Republicans to the right and the Democrats to the left both argue for their causes, but what they both actually advocate only beckon or pull in more from abroad: despite the right-wing trope to stop the border crossings and slow down foreign entrance into our country, the good economics and strong money that Republicans espouse and encourage cannot help but attract the peoples of the earth who want some of that alluring pie. Jobs and wealth do that, Republicans! Even low paying jobs and wages for us Americans is a great way to live for the people routinely pouring across the borders, or overstaying their vacations in order to permanently stay and work, at least till retirement (see many Mexicans, for example). So, when people on the right proclaim economic success, we have to know that this money and flow of incomes only incentivize the whole world (including bad people, like thieves), to come to the U S of A. The Great Satan, to some. But if we are a Satanic nation, we certainly attract a lot of people to our version of hell. Including millions who supposedly resent us.
Democrats also have their plan for making the best society, which is promising that the poor will be taken care of, that the people of the people's party will be assured that no one is left behind and everyone will be cared for: socially, economically, for health and welfare. That means that foreigners can benefit, too! So, no matter who is in office, Democrat or Republican, the immigrants at our doorsteps are always trying to enter.
America is so great that we allow other parties, that never get much traction but still exist. Socialists and communists roam the land and some river bottoms and swamps, and put their names on our ballots. But they never do too well, which is ironic because if the farther lefties ever took control of our free land, they would ruin it economically like they have done for the rest of the nations that they have brought to recession and ruin, and we would no longer be a target of the masses to arrive at.
So, the best anti-immigration policy would be to go Communist. Let's go, Marxists! Your brand of institutional tyranny would turn away all those undesirables and deplorables. (Words that GOP and Dems use against their enemies.)
Or, I shudder to think what would happen if we became a Libertarian or even an anarchist society. We could all go up in flames and THC psychotic smoke!
Yeah, groovy, baby! Let's turn back the waves of foreign peoples and legalize all drugs, not levy taxes, and let the world go its own Darwinian ways with no laws or scruples!
Ya get me, peeps?
What is the best way to stop illegal immigration?
Failure. Economic despair and turmoil. No jobs. No voting.
Chaos.
Let's be more fascist, or communist, or anything but our cherished democratic republic.
And go home, you weird speakers and funny dressers, strange worshippers!
Get out of our terrible country that you would do nothing but make us better!
