Indiana Male Sports Update: Relief for Now

Indiana Football pulls back into a good spot to beat Maryland at College Park.

Yesterday was a chilly but heart-warming game for long suffering Hoosier fans.  The hope remains, the hope of a bowl under fifth year coach Kevin Wilson lives on after a dynamic comeback.

Whew! I was there, and after falling down 21-3 in the first quarter I was nervous.

But the Hoosiers did us right and went away winning 47-28.

Now to beat Purdue next week.  High noon. Boilers must go down in West Lafayette!

Indiana should finish 6-6 to get to a post season bowl.

Must ... beat ... Purdue. Possible can go 5-7 and still go bowling, but that would be ugly...

Indiana soccer squad wins today to advance to round of 16. Must play number one seeded Wake Forest next weekend, in Winston-Salem.

They look pretty strong and finished the season well.

IU basketball team plays Monday in Hawai'i.

I have seen them play a couple of times, now 3-0 at home, and they have their weaknesses but score very well, shooting accurately.  All this against marginal talent at home.

We shall see how tough they can play in hostile and neutral environments. Are they big enough?

I like pizza! (from my son).

Good night Hoosier nation!

Peace.
