The Padres, Never-Winners, Have a Chance!

    The Pawds have to beat the Cubs. Right? Best of three. Or did they? Perhaps they have enough pitching this fall? The long losing Padres.

    The Mariners are done, so are the Rays of Tampa Bay. Their fans are kind of pathetic, right?

    No, the Mariners are alive with the phenom catcher, right? The newest Jonny Bench?

    The Guardians are about to lose to Detroit... as I am watching in the 8th.

    The Rays, the Brewers... Wait, has Milwaukee never won it? They are alive.

    So, are three never-haves still alive?

    Maybe! 

    Yeah, never-haves!

    Go, new guys! Or never -have guys.

    We have three possibilities for first time winners.

    I would love to see the Mariners. The Brewers, sure, except for their beer name.

    Beer stinks.

    Or the saintly Fathers of San Diego.

    No Sox, no Yanks, no Tigers... Or Cubs?

    Ahh, too bad, so many losers.

    But that is the game. The one we think of when we make the most analogies.
